Each firm (or office in the case of firms with multiple office locations) shall designate in writing one REALTOR® Member who shall be responsible for all duties and obligations of Membership including the obligation to arbitrate pursuant to Article 17 of the Code of Ethics and the payment of Board dues as established in Article X of the Bylaws. The "Designated REALTOR®" must be a sole proprietor, partner, corporate officer, or branch office manager acting on behalf of the firm's principal(s) and must meet all other qualifications for REALTOR® Membership established in Article V, Section 2, of the Bylaws.
The Greater Baltimore Board of REALTORS® has worked since 1858 to promote high standards and professionalism in Real Estate sales and law. We have supported our community in its development throughout the greater part of its history. Serving Baltimore City, Baltimore County, and Harford, Carroll, Howard and Anne Arundel Counties, the Board has a conveniently located office in Lutherville, Maryland. We provide training, education and arbitration services, and continue to develop the ethical and professional standards of our business.

Click here - for a copy of the GBBR New Broker Application - A New Broker is the broker of record/designated REALTOR ® for a real estate office that has not previously been a member of a REALTOR ® Board/Association or has recently opened their own company.

Click here - for a copy of the GBBR Secondary Association Broker Application - A Secondary Broker is the broker of record/designated REALTOR ® for a real estate office that is currently a member in good standing with another Board/Association of REALTORS ® and would like to keep their primary membership with that Board/Association of REALTORS ®. The Broker REALTOR ® has paid the current year national and state dues. If the broker has their primary membership in another state, they have the option of joining MAR.

Click here - for a copy of the GBBR Transfer AssociationBroker Application - A Transfer BROKER is a broker of record/designated REALTOR ® who is transferring from one REALTOR ® Board/Association to GBBR. If the transferring Broker has been a member in good standing with their current REALTOR ® Board/Association and has paid 2012 NAR and MAR dues please contact the GBBR Membership Department to apply for membership. If the transferring broker has not been a member in good standing with their most recent REALTOR ® Board/Association for over 1 (one) year, the broker is considered a NEW BROKER.
