A REALTOR® is an independent contractor or salesperson affiliated with or employed by a REALTOR® member or a firm, partnership, or corporation of which any REALTOR® member is the sole proprietor, partner, or officer, and who has been deemed qualified by the local Board.

The Greater Baltimore Board of REALTORS® has worked since 1858 to promote high standards and professionalism in Real Estate sales and law. We have supported our community in its development throughout the greater part of its history. Serving Baltimore City, Baltimore County, and Harford, Carroll, Howard and Anne Arundel Counties, the Board has a conveniently located office in Lutherville, Maryland.   We provide training, education and arbitration services and continue to develop the ethical and professional standards of our business.

  • Click here - for a copy of the GBBR New REALTOR® Application - A new REALTOR® is an agent who is new to the real estate business or has not previously been a member of a REALTOR® Board/Association. Your broker must be a member of GBBR in order to join GBBR.

 

  • Click here - for a copy of the GBBR Secondary Association REALTOR® Application - A Secondary REALTOR® is an agent that is currently a member in good standing with another Board/Association of REALTORS® and would like to keep their primary membership with that Board/Association of REALTORS®. The REALTOR® has paid the current year NAR and state dues. If the REALTOR® has their primary membership in another state, they have the option of joining MAR.

 

  • Click here - for a copy of the GBBR REALTOR® Transfer Association Application - A Transfer REALTOR® is a REALTOR® who is transferring from one REALTOR® Board/Association to GBBR. If the transferring agent has been a member in good standing with their current REALTOR® Board/Association and has paid 2012 National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) and Maryland Association of REALTORS® (MAR) dues please contact GBBR Membership department to apply for membership. If the transferring agent has not been a member in good standing with their most recent REALTOR® Board/Association for over 1 (one) year, the agent is considered a NEW REALTOR. Your broker must be a member with GBBR.
